• Broschüre: Für transparenten Pflanzenschutz: NEPTUN - Darstellung, Grenzen, Möglichkeiten

  Wie viel Pestizide werden wo in der Landwirtschaft tatsächlich eingesetzt? Gibt es große Unterschiede beim Pestizideinsatz zwischen den Landwirten, obwohl sie in derselben Region zum gleichen Zeitpunkt das Gleiche anbauen?
  

  Solche und ähnliche Fragen konnten bis vor kurzem nicht beantwortet werden, da Daten zur Pestizidanwendung nicht erhoben wurden. Die einzigen öffentlich verfügbaren Quellen waren wenig aussagekräftige Daten über die Vermarktung von Pestiziden in Deutschland.

  Mit den ersten veröffentlichten Ergebnissen des NEPTUN ("Netzwerk zur Ermittlung des Pflanzenschutzmitteleinsatzes in unterschiedlichen Naturräumen Deutschlands") rückt jetzt endlich die Intensität des chemischen Pflanzenschutzes auf deutschen Feldern ins Blickfeld. Die neue Broschüre von PAN Germany "Für transparenten Pflanzenschutz" stellt nicht nur das NEPTUN vor. Daüber hinaus wird diese Instrument der "Sichtbarmachung" des chemischen Pflanzenschutzes diskutiert, indem die Grenzen und Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt und Vorschläge für notwendige Verbesserungen unterbreitet werden.

  Die englischsprachigen Field Guides befassen sich jeweils mit einer landwirtschaftlichen Anbaukultur und enthalten alle relevanten Informationen über das nicht-chemische Management von Schadorganismen und Krankheiten der jeweiligen Anbaukultur. Grundlage dieser Publikationen ist OISAT, ein Online-Informations-Service für das nicht-chemische Management von Schadorganismen in den Tropen.

  For the The Briefing reveals a number of open questions about the new European MRL Regulation 396/2005 and clearly shows that today many maximum residue levels (MRLs) put children at risk. PAN Germany calculated 60 unsafe maximum residue levels in 13 major commodities.
